Unified Networking Services for
Enterprise Branch Office or SMBs
OmniAccess 5510 USG router unifies
multiple services such as routing,
switching, firewall, IPSec, VoIP, and QoS
for enterprise branch offices or SMBs. The
extensive SNMP support allows the
OmniAccess 5510 USG to be managed
from a centralized NMS server like
Alcatel-Lucent OmniVista 2500.

scenarios of OmniAccess 5510 USG for
Enterprise Branch Offices or SMBs.
Connectivity
OmniAccess 5510 USG router provides
users with a variety of WAN interfaces for
connecting to Internet services or secure
VPN connectivity to Head Office.
OmniAccess 5510 USG can connect to the
Internet or corporate networks through
Ethernet, ADSL, T1/E1, serial (X.21, V.35,
RS-232), and 3G. An Ethernet WAN port
can be connected to an external DSL or
cable modem to increase the connectivity
options. For reliability, the 3G WAN
link can also be used as a backup
interface should the primary connec-
tivity fail. 3G interface provides
auto-connection / auto-hang up
features for faster turnaround time.
